Yesterday, I flew my private helicopter up to Canadia for a little treasure hunt. While rummaging through a local dump and to my great delight, I stumbled upon this cool little Prometheus Beta flashlight.

For a moment, I thought it belonged to the esteemed Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery until I noticed the initials on the pocket clip. Lucky me ! 😉

In all seriousness, I’m very glad that he’s got a replacement on the way. Thanks for the inspiration to get one, brother Coleman ! 👊🏼

Sick!!! I lost version 1…:( Had it around 8/9 years. :( The body and head were all the same diameter. I’m currently trying to hunt one down on the secondary.

I just scrolled a whole page thinking it was the most recent one… and there are like a gajillion more pages since… so I will just post and resign myself to the reality that I will never properly keep up here.

Hopefully I didn't lower it's value....??? Haha
I softened the lines on the handle, and cleaned up the grind lines on the profile, like I do now.
*I didn't go Crazy, just a little clean up.
(It's rag micarta. That's why it looks textured)

So I only missed one day posting this time, though I'm entering super-crunch time as we're two weeks from opening our youth b-ball season. I've got tons to do to get both the league and my club going, so I'm really not able to but glance at these pages here and there and get an occasional post up.

Yesterday I set the holey, ironwood 110-1401 aside and carried the Hati solo, using it very carefully to pry a broken inflation needle out of one my coach's b-ball pump while stopping by his practice.

Today I went with my BMK 908-1501 for a Stryker Saturday. This is just such a great knife with its Cerrakoted M4 blade and yummy CF scales and I was disappointed to find its action all kindsa balky when I pulled it out of the drawer after it had sat there unused and unloved for waaaay toooo loooong. A quick oiling with W10 Nano really did nothing, so I pulled the blade and PB washers out the front, cleaned everything up, polished the washers, slid everything back in place, and dropped in just a little oil. It's been a while since I worked on an AXIS knife and it took me a bit to get my re-assembly mojo for that ilk back, but it's done now, everything's smooth and quick, and all's right with that little part of the world again. :D
