Tell him he has the full attention of the 50 (ish) normal posters in this EDC subforum to help him decide. You can make a poll thread for members here to vote and we can help the young man to make a decision.

He'll remember it for years to come and tell his Children and Grandchildren about this group of crazed knife fanatics on the internet helped to pick out knife X (whichever he winds up with).
