Ouch !!! When I was 4, I found a switchblade in a flower garden outside of a biker house party. I asked my pops if I could keep it. In my father’s classically nonchalant way, he said, “Well sure Mike, I don’t see why not.”

My little brother and I played with the knife for a bit and then I stuck it in my overalls pocket. Couldn’t stop fidgeting with it though and I accidentally pushed the button and wedged my thumb between the handle, blade, and wear the tip was stuck in the denim.

I couldn’t get my bleeding hand out and went to ask Mom for help. SHE WAS PISSED !!!

This was the beginning of my unhealthy love for all things sharp and shiny ….and the reason I carry right hand tip up and out. 🤔 The story never gets old in my family, Mom is still pissed at Dad, and they think I’m weird for loving knives so much.

Guess what they’re all getting for Christmas !?! 🤣🤣🤣

For sure, Steven Skiff is a master at his craft...of course, the Maker of Skiff Bearings (Rocket Bearings). His knives are incredibly small batch, and his precision is off the charts. Everything is finished at the highest level, even the underside of the handles, the engravings, etc.
