I can be a steel snob from time to time but that usually doesn't stop me from picking up cheapy knives when I see something in person.
I saw this at my local gun store for a whopping 10 buckaroo's so I pounced, it's the CRKT-LCK.
I heard some good stuff about it in the past and thought what the heck. It's actually a snappy, sharp little flipper.

I saw Maiden exactly one week ago tonight in Cincinnati. A Socom Delta went in with me.Got the Inkosi for the day carry, but tonight I'm seeing this rather small band in Chicago and have to leave it at home.![]()
I own the satin finished hollow ground drop point version which has a very stabby tip. Picked it up to satisfy one of those knife urges but its a pretty cool and slim little budget knife. (CRKT made for Ruger. LCK=light compact knife) and 10 bones is a steal! Great find.
It feels like absolutely nothing in your hand. I've heard some other good things about CRKT's Ruger line, it's a shame CRKT doesn't jump into higher end steel but frankly it's still great.
Keeps the cost down too![]()
Definitely a lightweight one indeed. CRKT has been putting out some models in D2 lately. if they keep that up maybe some of their offerings will look more appealing. the few models i own like the ripple and crossbones could benefit from an upgrade although i havent tried their D2 and kinda have my doubts about the HT lol. Even if they ran it on the softer side it would probably still be an improvement though.
I don't even risk it when I go to shows. Recently venues have been trying to take my wallet claiming they could be used as weapons, especially with metal. I've always called bull on that but it's whatever. I'd rather not get kicked out and enjoy the show. Maybe I should start using more shirts for knife shots. I definitely have WAY too many band shirts in my possession.I understand completely. Was at a bar in Chicago four or so years ago when the bouncer tried to confiscate my TSF Beast. Just grabbed it. I block his hand. He tells me I can't have it in there. He says give it to me and I'll keep it safe until you leave. I called bull, he tried to confiscate it again, I blocked him and confiscated his head. And it's Western line dancing bar? I could do more damage with a belt buckle.
Left and went to the Irish pub across the street where no one gave a ship.
Now I carry my little Case mini copperlock when I go to the city. I don't do bars anymore. I'm 40 and have a brand new liver.
I love the Iron Maiden background. I listen mostly to metal these days.
Tonight was my first time seeing them and oh my God was it a great show! Seeing them run around and bring that much energy, while being in their 60's, is just amazing to me.I saw Maiden exactly one week ago tonight in Cincinnati. A Socom Delta went in with me.
Wow what a picture! Where is that at?
One of my favorite bands back in the day!Got the Inkosi for the day carry, but tonight I'm seeing this rather small band in Chicago and have to leave it at home.![]()
