EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

There's an old Cape Cod aphorism about wintertime here that goes, "it only warms up enough to rain." That's sure what happened here last night and this morning and our our unusual snow cover is all but gone as I write. That got me outside for some pics of today's carry before lunch.

I went with my Crooked River again, not only as it's Wooden Wednesday, but also in response to a sudden purchase that I made last night which will become my biggest Benchmade when it arrives. The CR presently shares that distinction for blade length with my AFCKs, though the latter, and my TSEK, have slightly longer handles. My Adamas' blade is just a wee bit shorter than those full 4-inchers and its handle shorter too, but it leads the pack in heft at 6-and-a-half ozs. The new BMK will take the lead with a 4.25" blade and 10" overalll length, weighing in at a whopping 8 ounces. I've wanted one for a long time and can't wait to have it in hand.

In the meantime...

...and a shot of its open back with its original orange backspacer replaced by standoffs.

Thanks! The model is Gudzon, maker Cheburkov, 4.25" laminate blade, contoured and milled out titanium scales frame lock. I don't know the weight but it's super light and super smooth action like a Shirogorov. Spec below in Russian
