EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today I'm carrying my Tactile Maverick with Magnacut blade and G10 handle scales.

How far can that rifle shoot? I don’t know anything about guns but I’ve always been fascinated with long-range firearms. Love learning about WWII snipers and such.

Just going to leave me hanging, huh? I see how it is.

:D

It’s a 308 Winchester. It can get way out there. I’m just plinking at gongs 200 & 300 yards down range this morning.

We spent some more time today getting ready for what's being forecast as a major snow event Sunday through Monday with bitter cold and gusting winds. We got our small generator--enough to run the fridge, a few lights, and chargers--out, gassed up and started as well as the snow blower, which hasn't been run for a few years, started and backed into the garage/wood shop. I brought in four barrels of wood and we'll fire up the masonry heater once the storm gets going so we'll be warm enough in case the power goes out and takes the furnace with it. We've got our camp stove to cook on, food in the house and hot and cold running water, so we should be able get through any outages, so we'll hunker down and see what happens.

Some of our league clubs are already cancelling their games and I'll wait to see what's what Sunday morning before making the call here, though I wouldn't mind having the day off at home if the driving conditions are hazardous for our local and visiting teams.

I didn't manage any fresh pics today, but pulled up these of my PJ SHF from almost exactly four years ago.

So .... for the last batch of fixed blades that I unpacked for my rotation last year, I will switch folders again. You'll see daily photos of one of these:

A couple of weeks ago, I found the above 110 Auto in MC, different from the 110 I carried in Dec (S30V), which is now dedicated to my workshop.

Had to cut up these rounds with the Demko and get them loaded for some weight. 😎 Prepping before the Big Snowmageddon gets here tomorrow.

Forecasting 12-18” now for Tulsa.

Everyone stay safe tmr if you’re in the path and also anywhere north with the predicted -60 windchills.

That's why every man needs more than an SAK at their disposal! Have fun or be safe depending on how you view winter weather.
