EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Have been carrying around my cheap Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2 for a week or so, which wasn't worth mentioning in the Spyderco forum or here but I just pocketed a CRKT Seismic that I bought off the Exchange a few days ago.

Definitely my kind of knife! Flipper, G10 scales, deep pocket clip and (most importantly to me) a BIG 4" blade. :)

OBTW, say what you will about satin, stonewashed, blackwashed, DLC and other blade finishes BUT (IMO) there's nothing as impressive as a BIG a$$ed POLISHED steel blade on any knife, fixed or folder, like the one on the Seismic, even if it's made out of "1.4116 Stainless Steel," whatever the f*ck that is. LOL! ;)

Really know nothing about the Ikoma "Deadbolt" locking system either and, since I never actually use any of my collectible knives, it's pretty irrelevant to me anyway. Certainly never going to bang it on anything or baton the spine to test the lockup. However, I do like the BIG push button release, which makes closing the blade really simple and easy.

This is the 6th CRKT Ikoma designed knife in my collection. My favorite in terms of looks is still the Fossil, just love the aggressive appearance of it w/the Veff serrations. Think the Seismic is now my 2nd favorite ahead of the Carnuflex and No Time Off.

Also have Ikoma's smaller/discontinued Sampa and Carajas folders but they really don't fit in my collection anymore; not sure they ever did. Both are NIB; never carried. You can easily find pics of them on the Net. So, if anyone's interested in them, please send me a PM and let's make a deal. ;)
