EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Yeah I meant the Boker. I’ve been on a slim, slicy, pokey blade kick lately. The slimmer, slicier and pokier, the better. . .

I've been on a Benchmade kick, lately. Window shopping, not buying. I don't think you're looking for suggestions 'pesifically, but let's be honest about why we're here.

The "Fact". Blade thickness is 0.110".

Awesome. Who made this ? Thanks.

Morning.

The OKT Ranger from yesterday ends my "museum's tour" of the favorite fixed blades that I unpacked early in Dec ....

I'm now going back to having a box of a dozen fixed blades that I rotate from for a few months. You'll see more CPKs as I missed them :) You will also see some folders that I haven't used in a long time :)

Looking forward to seeing the knives.

Finally got a taste of the benefits of a lightweight knife. I usually take my Grohmann knife or the 15017-1 with a mushroom knife for hikes, (those trips usually last 4–10 hours, so a 35L backpack was requried and 2 "heavy" knives were felt nothing).
So when this Spyderco landed in my hands, it felt tiny and feather-light—almost nothing compared to the Buck 110 I got just a day earlier. I could barely feel its weight, and I have to admit, I even doubted whether it could actually perform - my bad! 😂
But today I went on a short climb—about an hour, just a hike along a steep trail, (nothing like what Alex Honnold does) - and I brought only this Spyderco. The lightweight design was amazing.
Before, I always needed a 5L - 10L daypack to carry my knives in the hip-belt pocket for this climb. Today, all I took was a soft flask and this Spyderco in my pocket. It felt as easy as strolling around my house after dinner.

Lovely!

And I just started going through the backlog of this thread from page 7200, if you see any activities on your posts from a year ago, don't worry, not AI nor crawler bot - sorry about that 😅

That is a cool looking Benchie. I’ve been carrying the smaller Crooked River. Really a tremendous knife. IMG_8046.jpeg

Absolutely lovely!
Nice!

I've been helping some mates tidy up an old vegetable garden and orchard, so I've been using a fixed blade for most of the day. Then it's off to my shop to start fixing some stuff before we give it a new coat of paint, a good opportunity to try out a new sheath I had made for my ST Spirit. I've had the Spydie Police for ages, still love how slim it is. We were putting some anti-slip tape on stairs, I put a left-over bit on the slick stainless steel handle.
