OK, tiguy, I'm stumped. I checked the lionSTEEL site and didn't find your knife. It looks just like a tiSpine with a different handle pattern. I also noticed a signature on the dockside blade. Kindly educate me, sir.
DPX version.

TiSpine Aculus limited edition.

That’s funny that you posted that knife. I have a Manix in the same configuration that I have up for sale. I have been debating on keeping it because I do like the knife. It’s sharp as can be and the tip is like a little needle. I’ll take your posting as a sign to keep the Manix.
I only kept a handful of Spydies, and that was one I was definitely not parting with!

I’m still a hack...but I’m slowly getting better.

ETA: The edge isn’t perfect, but it’s sharp as frick base to tip.
Well, you sure made that phonebook sorry it ever crossed your threshold, 4mer.

The SharpMaker is an incredibly simple, low-tech sharpening fixture. One can develop great facility with it after a while and it does an excellent job as long as you don't need to re-profile. I have an EdgePro as well, but I use my SharpMaker about 90% of the time, particularly for touch-ups or re-sharpenings of blades whose edges have been reasonably well-maintained. There's so little set-up/breakdown and no water mess to deal with, so you're good to go in just a few minutes.
