Thanks, BP. That was my second Shiro, bought from a Russian re-seller on the Exchange BNIB 10 years back, about a month after picking up my first. I had written a member here experienced with Shiro's for advice and he offered me his F3 Python after I'd inquired about it. I had been debating that one vs a 111 that was for sale here, but chose the F3 as I didn't want my 1st Bear to be too large. As soon as I got the Python I wanted the 111, but it was gone. found this one the next month and was able to grab it after a little negotiating. I'm glad I got a good deal and bought this one when I did when you could get good private deals from the other side of the pond.Absolutely Gorgeous! That is one sexy blade! You really did well my friend. She’s an absolute beauty. I do not have a 111 yet, but it’s on my hit list. I hope I can find one half as nice. Well done. . .Thanks, BP. You know very well how it goes after that with Shiro's. I ended buying 10 over the years and still have 8 of 'em. I do like this pocket sword a lot and it's broken in and been tuned up to have the smoothest, quietest, snappy action opening and perfect hydraulic drop-shutiness of almost any knife I've owned.
