First Blood the book is totally different in so many areas...Worth a read too.... He also wrote books for the next 2-3 movies too.....

woodysone I haven't planted anything yet, except for a Fir Tree. I'm going to just take it easy this year and leisurely plant just a few things that are easy to water in one spot. I did collect and dry the seeds from the best Sunflower plants that grew last year. Last year I realized that I grow sunflowers every year, but I just take a gamble on what they're going to turn out like by buying a pack of seeds. I had 3 or so sunflowers that grew humungous last year, so I just dried those ones out and will plant those ones. Kind of brought out the energy of my ancestors with that one! Hopefully most of them will turn out like their past generation!
