Morning guys. My Spyderco Mantra 2's M4 blade is developing a nice natural patina. I haven't ever used it for cutting food and other acidic stuff that I can remember, it's just developing a nice "aged" and even patina over time. I keep it on my computer desk all the time and I carry it a decent amount. Not sure exactly what's causing it, I guess just general oxidation, I like it though.
Also, the Malibu has a strange thing going on where it "disappears" often. It's just the perfect shade of black that I very often don't see it sitting there on my computer desk, or sitting on top of my black bed comforter (closed) during the day. It just has a strange quality to it's color that it blends in with it's environment really well. Just an interesting thing I've noticed.
