Yeah, we had some jackass start a fire the other day, down in the Inland Empire hills.

Hopefully they lock him up and forget about him.
 
Pretty much what I always carry with one new replacement. I traded out the Cold Steel Master Tanto that I have been carrying for the last 20 years or so for this North Mountain Blades Tanto. They Are almost the same size but the NMB Tanto has about 1/4" longer blade and is lighter. And the handle is shorter which does not show as much under a shirt. Besides that I have these 3 others that I also have been carryingg for a long time. Victorinox Classic on the keychain for small tasks and it has scissors, a CRK Sebenza for general utility, Hinderer XM-24 which I rarely use and the NMB Tanto which I do not use at all.

I'm a picky SOB and there is no axis on which this knife is not impressive. Even the not inconsiderable price is solid for USA-made, small-batch, with excellent F&F and materials.

I'm used to carrying my Para 3 Lightweight in shorts, and it carries great, but this longer, slightly heavier knife carries even better. It's like a ghost in the pocket. Yet it's not so slim that I can't get a comfortable grip on it (a problem I often have with notably thin and/or narrow handles). Digging it!

Apparently I've chosen lighting conditions which highlight every speck of dust. "Enjoy." 🤣
