Today, my daughter and I walked through the places where famous Russian writers lived and worked: Dostoevsky, Gogol, Pushkin.

Along the way, we discovered this piece of history.

This building housed the Department of Internal Affairs during the Russian Empire. We saw this plaque on the wall:
