EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thanks. When the weather gets warmer, and I start wearing shorts, I often like something lighter than the Buck 112s I regularly carry. The usual choice for that is the Native 5 or a Buck 112 Slim.
I’m a big fan of the Native 5. Especially with the AWT scales. They take it to another level. Slim and the contouring makes it so much more comfortable than the stock scales.

We got back from a short week at our VT camp Thursday evening. We didn't have a bad stay, with a few nice days and getting some things done around the property, but the trip was bracketed by two of the hardest rain storms I can recall. The last leg on the trip up came with almost zero visibility as we drove locally along the river with some idiot tailgating us, then an incredibly violent thunder storm the last night literally shook the cabin with a close hit, dropping a deafening deluge on its steel roof for some time.

I'm a bit tired and sore from some tree work we did, getting punctured and swollen up by unfamiliar mosquitos, and by a 560 mile round trip in the F350. We've got AC going in what's sweltering heat back here on Cape and are happily recovering in our more civilized surroundings.

Anyway, I've gotten to taking fewer knives and knife stuff along with me, concentrating on bringing along mostly blades that I'm more comfortable carrying and finding if dropped in the woods or fields. Just for fun, I dragged out all my orange-handled folders, plus my red RAT and its DA170 DA170 clone and stuffing them in my small canvas knife pack and one double case.

Of those, I carried the Al Mar Eagle HD on the way up and on Day 1, my usual FRN Endura for most of our stay...

...then the old combo-edged AUS8 RAT with its second-hand red pants a little and the way home.

The rest of 'em just got fondled and played with a little indoors.

If he finds one, what would he do? Lol. My Golden ran last time he cornered one. Too funny. View attachment 3206315View attachment 3206316
my golden has been destroying squirrels and whatever else she can get her paws on. i think it's because she has dachshunds as siblings, learned it from them. she also likes to find the nastiest muddiest puddle she can find and roll in it
