Does it count that I feel bad about laughing at your joke?Most people can deal with temps up to about 105°. Overnight you'll probably see a 30° temperature drop.
110 is miserable, zaps your energy and all you want to do is stay inside, with the AC blowing.
When it hits 115+ in the desert, it becomes life threatening! The level of heat is on another level, you don't even sweat, it dries as soon as it leaves your body!
To add to that, just because it's dark out and the sun went down, doesn't mean it cooled off. It's still 100° at 2am, with a hot wind blowing!
Having water and something like Gatorade helps, you really have to be on top of staying hydrated. That and electrolytes, vitamins...
Heck, this year we even got a new manager of hydration!
