Rest day today after tiring myself bit over Fathers' Day Weekend, though spending time working with my youngest (37 y.o.) was a great gift. I did some kitchen clean-up, made our mid-day meal, and put away a bit of stuff left out from our weekend's work. I'll might spend some time cleaning up over in the wood shop later this afternoon.

, I pocketed my S30V Manix XL this morning, a knife I've had for a long time but one that hasn't had a lot of carry over the years. This is another knife that's been re-discovered as well-liked, though its use more recently has suffered some since the acquisition and break-in of my CruCarta Manix 2 has put that one in my pocket a lot in the past months.
I don't know if the jimping on this one is needed, as the handle size and shape really lock this big 'un into my hand, but it's certainly not uncomfortable and I like the way it looks, feels, and creates a whole, not undeserved, hard-use, utilitarian vibe.
