I traveled to the St. Petersburg suburbs for work today. During my lunch break, I took a walk in the rain through the Osinovets Forest Park.

It is the former estate of the Lopukhin princes.

Unfortunately, following a fire that destroyed the wooden palace, the estate has been abandoned, and some of the lakes are already turning into swamps.

Replacing a 100ft section of 6ft cedar fencing. Digging the post holes 30" deep and placing 8ft steel U-posts in the 10" wide holes...15 of them! This fence will be upright and strong for several decades. FAFO
