working finish handle but is that a two-tone blade? looks like my Eklipse, with working finish primary grind and satin flats, i absolutely love that knife and blade. the satin flats make the action incredibly smooth
Getting caught up here this morning and just saw your post....

That is indeed a two-tone blade, with Working Finish on the blade grinds--primary and top swedge (really more of broad bevel there)--lock-side and liner on handle. After reading your Eklipse description, I suppose my blade flats are indeed satin, but they stand out against the WF so strongly that I've always thought of them as polished. This one really caught my eye when it showed up on the Exchange some years back and I grabbed it up in minutes. I hadn't been a big fan earlier, having sold off my first HalfTrack with working finish, but have come to like it quite well now.

I really enjoy my two Skinny's, this Slicer grind is very aptly named, and, with the thinner blade stock and bright flats, it just flies through material. Here's another pic of Friday's carry showing off the WF handle with the contrastingly finished blade. Really like this one a lot....

So, how 'bout Make-up Monday for a theme, making up for planning to and mentioning, but not carrying, this one over the weekend. This is my other XM18 Skinny with a sheep foot blade in CPM20CV steel. I wrote earlier that I'd developed a liking for RHK's Working Finish, but I've always loved their Coarse Stonewash blade and handle slab finish featured on most of my Hinderers. This one also has their red G10 scale--added after I grabbed the knife off the Exchange--which may be my favorite piece of that material of all the knives I've accumulated over the years.

It was a rotten Monday but it could have been A LOT worse. Got tagged in my work vehicle by a hit and run. A split second earlier and it would have been T-bone in the driver door. Fortunately it was just the rear quarter panel of the van on the driver side. No one hurt thank goodness. Left their license plate behind as they took off. Hahahahaha! Called the cops and handed it to them. Really funny part???? She didn’t even get a slap on the wrist! What is wrong with this world??
