I can't believe how lucky I got, that it didn't fall off in the tall grass or on the concrete floor in the barn. There was a tiny portion of thread that had been pulled loose on the rope, a single thread, and when I was putting the halter on it apparently wrapped around the clip and snatched it right from my pocket. I was becoming demoralized, I thought it was possible the halter grabbed it and threw it out of my pocket onto the ground but never thought it would be attached to it. My last ditch effort was to look on the halter and there it was

Man, I was really close to posting pics on the appropriate day….but I think I nodded off sometime around 11:30 last night while sorting through the “Fixed-blade Friday” pics I took yesterday. My age is starting to catch up with me in more ways than I like to admit. Just ask my wife, she has no qualms about pointing it out.

Anyway, I opted for one of my Messerdepot “SK09’s” (produced by JE Made) for a “Pocket Friendly Fixed-blade Friday”:

I think I’ve only posted one fixed blade since finding my way back to the forums. As a huge fan of the “easily pocketed” variety, I took a few extra pics with most of my SK09 collection to share in the appropriate thread. Figured I’d toss ‘em out here just for kicks….and because it may take me weeks to work my way over to another thread, assuming I even remember it’s there.
