EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Yesterday we left Vermont and drove back to the Cape. It rained hard the evening before and overnight with a few showers while we packed up to go. We always try to get away before lunch, but rarely do--mid-to-late afternoon generally being the rule, especially after being up a week with lots of gear to stow away and pack up. This time we had to prepare a bit more for winter in case we don't get back up before it turns cold--shutting down the fridge and packing up the contents, anti-freezing the drains, filling the woodbox, and getting things squared away outside. Before stowing the porch furniture I took a couple pics of my carry for the trip down.

Which wood is that? I like the striping. Really really like how the mammoth inlays look. Seen a right hander with mammoth and what just awe struck. The one I seen had some nice marbling to it. I hear with the mammoth it can go anywhere from almost all ivory colored to almost black depending on where the inlays are cut from the tusks.

It’s is actually natural micarta. I only own one wood Crk and it’s a box elder Mnandi, so I can’t be much help on mammoth. I Do have a large 31 box elder on direct order

Wow so the striping happens on the micarda inlays then. If I could be granted the inlays would look that good I would just pop for one now. But I haven't ever seen them look like that before. Most of the ones I seen look speckled and dark grey.

They all vary. I have two naturals and they both look different. Have a couple black micarta sand they both look different as well. I’ll try to send you some pics tonite of different variations if I remember
 
Think I'm gonna take a drive to my winter home in " Mexico " today. Should be able to post up some autos. Shame I have to leave them down there. It would be really nice to be able to carry them. But you know California if it's bigger then a tooth pick it dam well better be manual

Oh uh oh u r in the army. Now.
My greenshit is off the pocket. Bcoz it was stiff as fck, and my thumb could not take it any more. Actually, not only bcoz of that.

BECAUSE ITS STUCK. IT SUCKS.
Bcoz I tried to wash it bcoz stiff.
Maybe it needs oil. Dunno.
