Been carrying this SR2 since it showed up from the exchange a few days ago. I definitely like the size much better than my larger SR11 (definitely thinner bte also) and will probably end up getting the newer flipper version of it eventually. The rotolock feature is pretty neat and now i have a Halloween knife haha!
I love the DLC scale too. No it is not a “Skinny “ scale. It’s very light weight though (inside is hollowed out) and only adds .030” to the overall thickness. It’s my very best Hinderer. The blade is perfectly centered, the action is super smooth (on washers), drops shut and the feel of a full Ti stonewashed DLC Hinderer really is exquisite.

I also have the BM 581. Mine is deassisted. The blade is now very slicy sharp. I wish the handle was a bit lighter. Did replacing the stand off with back spacers reduce the weight any? Where did you get the standoffs?Carrying my modded 581 today--de-assisted, lock and backspacer replaced with standoffs, bolster screws and thumbstuds changed out to black. Got a wicked sharp edge on the M390 blade of this nicely hand- filling knife.
Is that the Super Tuck? I have the mini tuck. Best holster I’ve ever had, can’t recommend it enough. Nice Hinderer too!Time to spin some vinyl
