I use the Edge Pro Apex. I've sharpened it to 3,000 grit which gives it the mirror edge.

I don't know that the 055 is quite my cuppa tea, SS, but Josh sure can work some magic on a blade. He did my XM24 with a shallow hollow grind that totally transformed the knife, changing it from sharpened prybar to light-saber cutter/slicer.

I like the the way he re-did the spine on yours toward the tip, dropping the point while leaving the slightest suggestion of the former reverse tanto. Is your hollow grind a large radius too? That really makes for a great slicer.

Are you left handed or did you tap the cqc7 like that so you could reverse wave it?

It’s very rare I aquire a knife I enjoy as much as this one. 3.25 inch shamwari. One of the best edc knives I’ve ever owned. The only contender was a relatively cheap Boker Ti Exskelibur, a knife I will always regret trading.
