EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

After a couple days of small-knife-toting with my ACE Biblio, I'm back to my usual size range and back to a 710. Despite the fact that I have many knives more expensive, this is one of the Crown Jewels of my collection. It also would have to be wicked long or have wicked fine print to include all the names that went into its creation. As with all 710's, it bears the names of (Bill) McHenry and (stepson Jason) Williams, inventors of the AXIS lock and designers of the model. To that we could add Les de Asis, owner of Benchmade that produced the knife, though his butterfly logo is already there. Then there's Roger Claunch, founder/owner of KnifeWorks who commissioned the -1401 and sold me this one. We could make room on the blade for Bohler-Uddeholm, maker of the M390 steel which is marked on the reverse side, and as the blade would be fully cluttered and a hideous billboard, I'd appropriately finish with our man, Keyman, who made my glorious holey Arizona Ironwood scales, inscribed on the handle.

Hey, i was going to learn the lazer inventor's name!

I thought you didn't like CRKs. What helped this one into your pocket?

I still don't like them any more than I did before, really. I'm generally pretty "meh" about them still.

I just decided since they're such a staple recommendation and they've spawned a cult of rabid followers I'd have to stop buying and selling them and just pick my favorite version and give it the college try. For a month or two I've been attempting to carry said favorite (model: 21, size: large, blade: insingo, inlays: micarta) every other day until it grew on me. I use it all the time, and it's a nice enough knife that I have no qualms about keeping it, but it's mostly about giving myself small doses of rattlesnake poison daily until I'm immune to rattlesnake bites.

I may do something to it to make it an unsaleable keeper just because. I wonder if anyone has ever dyed the micarta inlays on a Sebenza to some horrifying color? Purple maybe . . .

I've been hoping to find a crk that sticks with me as well, I'm thinking the 31 with bog Oak might just do it..... we have a while till that one lands. Took me a while to warm up to RHK as well so I guess I'm just stubborn.
