EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Technically I'm not "carrying" this one today seeing as I'm not leaving my house but I did put it to use.
So I did have to carry it from my Spyderpac to the kitchen.

Been dealing with the death of a close friend.. he was hiking up in Bishop/kings canyon and fell leaving his wife and unborn baby. Sad week so far but finally off work and able to get back to things.

Saturday carry is the trusty XM18 slim

I carry inside my house all the time.... I carry while sitting on the sofa using a laptop haha

I carry out the house, in the house, on the couch, basically all the time except when sleeping at night pretty much and sometimes even then if I forget a folders in my PJs haha!

One of the things I greatly enjoy about BF and this thread in particular is the back and forth we get here around our knife pics, with some of that commentary leading me to pick out another day's carry. DC's remark about the similarity between the MP1 and Insingo blades got this particular large 21 Sebenza out of the drawer and into my pocket today.

I bought this one off the Exchange as a user to be a work user. The owner previous to my seller had gone all stabby mall ninja on a beverage can or something leaving numerous longitudinal scratches on the blade much worse than anything on my hardest use work knives, most of them mid-techs--some bought new and others on the secondary market. Regardless, I've bought CRKs, Shiros, and others similarly and it takes the angst out of that first mark and saves one considerable $ in the process.

That first scratch always stings. It’s kind of a relief once it happens tho. Helps get passed that honeymoon/babying stage and then really get to using and enjoying the knife

I've easily got 500 knives stashed around my less than humble abode.
No reason to actually carry one in my lounge-wear (yes, picture something velour ;)) when there are like five of them within arms reach and a .44 stuffed in the couch cushions.

Wow i thought i had a lot of knives! (about 200). I'm a firm believer in stashing knives and firearms everywhere as well but for some reason I just feel naked without a knife in my pocket!

Haha I'm slowly becoming that guy.... when my grandfather passed away we found guns and knives stashed everywhere. It was like hide &seek... now I've got knives and guns stashed everywhere.

Yeah, it's not like I'm the sort that needs the security, I just have so many that they're just kind of everywhere.
I either need less weaponry or a bigger space.

IMG_0877.jpg IMG_0878.jpg Swapped the bugout for the Reate Hills and decided to try some MRBS in it I had laying around. It's a nice folder and has always flipped well but the closing action was never very fall shutty, however i don't own any other Reates so not sure what to expect. There may be a slight improvement with the new bearings or maybe I just want to think there is .
