I've got two up right now, both are smaller EDCs, but different types.

First- number 492, a maple handled ramped shortfinger.

OAL: 7 1/4 inches. Blade length is 3 1/2 inches. This is 15N20 steel, about .1 thick (a very small metric hair over 3/32.) Full quench and temper and a spine draw down temper. Finish is a pebbled looking, but smooth sanded, forge finish.

Edge grind is a medium high convex taper. A bit more than a scandivex, a bit less than a full convex.

Handle is generous (I should call these FATfingers instead of shortfingers)- 15/16 thick at the thickest point, well rounded, and a generous 3 7/8 long. Maple has some banding and sunburst, it's a crotch-cut set of scales. Pins are blued steel. Spine and tang are blued to match the overall finish, as well.

Sheath is a Ranger model, made by KoyoteGirl (Sierra). Sheath is water formed, double seamed and double needle hand stitched. Belt loop attaches outside the body of the sheath to the horizontal strap

Asking $170, $8 shipping in the US, SPF

thanks!

Second up is a Patriot style EDC blade. Number 493. Actually, the Patriot ended up being the name of the sheath model for the first one of these. I just call them light self defense blades, but SD would get confused with my sgian dubhs. Whatever, it's a handy knife, designed to be my personal minimal utility/self defense knife with a lower profile than the rather extremely beefy handles of my stead knives.

Overall, this one is 8 1/2 inches long, with a blade that is 4 1/4 inches. The blade is broad and full (all!) bellied, 1 1/2 inches broad at the hilt. Steel is 1084, full quench and temper and a differential temper. Some forge finish is left on, but the blade is overall brought down to 400/600. Edge grind is a high scandivex, easy to maintain.

Handle is OD green G10 with very subtle grey spacers. Pins are stainless steel, 1/4 inch.

Sheath is a KG (Sierra) made modified Patriot/mini-explorer. snap strap is easily replaceable (snaps on both sides) for customization. Belt hanger is adjustable and removable. Again, double needle hand stitched and double seamed.

Asking $165 SOLD SOLD

thanks again!

I swear If I had all the money in the world... :D

LOL... But i'll think about the Maple Handled version (as another lucky person already got to #2 =) It all depends on the bills.

I haven't actually gotten out to an "explicit" warranty. But it's - to me- obvious with a custom type knife that the basic package is warranted against any issues. I generally will refresh a knife for the cost of shipping if someone grabs one on the secondary market, too. I'm not sure what abuse is, but I've fixed loose scales from hitting them against frozen trees too many times and suchlike. I make the knife, I fix the knife.

Well, Sir... You almost have me sold :) I REALLY like that you do back up your products as well. I'll have to see about the Maple version, but I'll surely let you know.

Oh, I also forgot, The use I will put my knives through is pretty much all Bushcraft uses. Would you consider light bottoning abuse? I almost NEVER split wood with my knives, but I sometimes will if I don't have my Wetterlings with me. And thinking right now... I'll have an answer for you by tommorow (that is if it's not gone ;)
but probably will be able to get it.

Best Regards, Jared

baton away. I would recommend not whaling on the handle scales :D but the blade is beatable, I have mostly held to that through all my outdoor and edc knives, it's reasonable and not abusive as long as you aren't splitting granite.

No granite it is! :D Every time I look at this puppy, I druel even more! I'll let you know tommorow if I can purchase it (fingers crossed ;)

Have a good one, Jared
