This custom model number # 9 Drop Point Hunter/Skinner/EDC knife was designed and hand made by knife maker Eddie White. The model # 9's have become quite popular with all matter of outdoors folks over the last few years soon after the were introduced at that time.. The genius of the design is its functionality, versatility and durability which becomes very apparent while preforming difficult hard use chores in the field..
I ordered this knife from Eddie years back and requested smooth Red Bone scales. A little fun fact that should be mentioned is this is the very first knife with Red Bone that Eddie ever sold. Knife Serial # 056. I mention this in case some of you are following Eddie's custom knife making career..
--Full Tang Construction built and Hollow Ground blade.
--Steel is 1/8 inch thick 440C professionally heat treated & quenched RC 57-58.
--Smooth Red Bone scales with two large Brass Pins and leather wrist thong/keeper.
--Blade measures 3 1/2 inches, knife tip to end of tang. Actual cutting edge is 3 1/8 inches. Handle is 4 inches.
--Total overall length is a fuzz under 7 1/2 inches.
--Upgraded Handmade leather sheath can be worn concealed on your boots, belts, military webbing or a number of other areas on the body.
Those of you who know Eddie's work already know how perfectly hollow ground his model number #9's are as well as how he makes his handles nice to fit a mans hand.. Eddie is getting $175.00 + shipping cost + the wait time..
