I was looking at a new Buck #105 this weekend. I've ben around the "knife block" on outdoor knives, custom, production, and keep coming back to this design. Owning several bucks ( 522, bucklite, 119,110) I have no qualms about buying a 105 to fill that "carry for everything in the woods" senario.
The one I looked at was stamped on the bubble pack it was in "edge2000" could one of you fine forumites explan this to me? Is it a thinner edge? I, several years ago, reprofiled my 119 over the course of several weeks slowly, to a thinner edge, and have expirenced no problems with it either cutting, chopping, or being batoned to split wood.
Many thanx in advance
