Edge Brand fixed blade

I bought an Edge Brand fixed blade hunting knife 30 years ago. Blade is 4 1/4", overall length is 8 1/4". Is my handle real stag? How do I tell? Solingen carbon steel. Is this company around anymore? Thank you!

I've always wondered if Edge Co and Bear MGC are the same company? Their knives are almost exactly the same.

The Edge Mark brand use to belong to the Guttmann Cutlery Company. They imported a lot of knives from Sologen Germany marked G.C.C. ,or Edge Brand, and also imported knives under the Explorer brand from Japan. Guttmann is currently marketed as Junglee.

The stag on most of the edge brand knives was real.
