Is there a question in there?

No offense if English isn't your native tongue, but I have no idea what you want to know.

I did an image search for "katona" and ended up with pics of a squirrel in desert battle fatigues and some buxom British celebrity.

???

this is for GunSto, you have half of the solution. the other is the steel and how it was tempered. dismiss all the haloed stories of Japanese or the Turkis damascus all being primo. some were justified amazing and other(that broke) got sent back to their maker if tje owner survived the battlle and he would then procede to disappear the broken up swoard up the makers backside. that heart fella in CA has researched the method to make blades of legend . he succeeded he uses tool steel with his proprietary hardening process to make blades capable of cutting a 2 inch rolled paper on a down cut w/o moving the bottom piece weither long or short blade. it is unusual that he sharpens his blades edge on with a fitted wood guide against a belt grinder. the edge is almost flat ground(taper to thin) he next stropes the too steel by only cutting cardboard untill the burr is gone.

Sharpness isn't everything but it helps. Of course, Chuck Norris knows that nothing cuts air better than a good roundhouse kick when a smachete isn't handy.

Start by ignoring any internet advice on how to sharpen any blade but do read everything you can find offered via a simple search with the term sharpening. There are also a number of results for video searches. From there, it is just a matter of applying some experience.

Cheers
