All of the stones have plenty of life left in them and have no cracks, as I only used the system maybe 5 or 6 times. I modified the knife rest and embedded neodymium magnets into it with epoxy to give yourself a more solid hold on the knife when sharpening (HELPS A TON!! -I have inspired others to do the same with great results)
