Edge Pro Apex Set Up/Base

I am basically just opposed to the whole suction cup idea. To me it is flimsy and so dependent on the surface you are sticking it too. I will be hard mounting mine.

Pic of new setup...works great and can finally sit down and use it. Pads keep either side from touching surface underneath. Sits nicely level and grippy.

Walmart in the furniture pad section. The surface on the pads is similar to shelf liner. With only 4 stuck on like I have, it'll move if I apply excessive pressure. Obviously a sheet of shelf liner or rubber will give you way more surface area, but if I feel like I need more grip I have 8 extra pads I can stick around the perimeter. I did it this way because I wanted it slightly elevated.

I have almost the same set up. The main problem I have found is that the excess soapy water causes the suction cups to slip on the glass.
