Edge Pro question

I'm interested in buying an Apex edge pro, but I have a question. How well does it sharpen oddly shaped blades. I was thinking specificly about my Spec and Speed bump. Does anyone have experience sharpening a blade like this on the edge pro?

It will handle most knives with no problem, on recurves for example the edges of the stone will work the recurve. As long as the curve allows the stone to make some contact. You have to be careful... this is a prime area where you use light pressure and "let the stone do the work". If you push down, the stone can cut into the side of the edge.

I believe you can also purchase the stones in 1/2 in. width, if it's a really tight curve or area you're trying to work.

i sent my spec bump in for a demo sharpening and Ben commented on the difficulty this knife presents due to little flat to rest on and extreme curvature. of course he did an outstanding job but he did use the 1/2 in stones. i tried to duplicate his results with the 1 in stones and had a less than stellar outcome.
