edge question

I have a protech stinger and I just noticed the edge on one side is about twice as wide as on the other. This isn't normal right? I looked at a few of my other knives and none are like this. Here's a pic

I have a protech stinger and I just noticed the edge on one side is about twice as wide as on the other. This isn't normal right?

It is fairly common yes, as is a similar situation where the bevels are the same height but at different angles. In your case the angles could be similar but the primary grind isn't symmetric or the angles uneven. It is mainly a cosmetic issue but you should not have to accept it if matters to you.
