"Edge Swallowtail" Butterfly Knives???

I just saw a butterfly knife with what appeared to be Damascus or pattern welded steel with a tang mark of "EDGE SWALLOWTAIL", then a picture of a butterfly followed by "USA". Does anyone have any information about these? TIA.

I have handled a 3 inch damascus swallowtail butterfly before.. and my impresion is that it handled like a Bear MGC odel 15(??) the black powdercoat handles. The thing is.. Bear makes DAmascus Blades for their stardust handles instead of the powdercoat.

Other than that the knives are identical.. Personally I do not like Bear MGCs but that's me.. I did a review of Bear MGC butterflies on my site.. It is reather biased though facts and poinions intertwined.

Sniperboy, thanks for putting my Custom Balisong pic on your site, I remember that you were going to do that but I forgot all about it till I just checked it out again and there it was, and no it's still not for sale! Almost made the mistake of moving that but I would really kick myself if I ever did that.

I've had the Bear Damascus Tanto Butterfly and it worked pretty well, and the tanto was chisel edged also, very sharp, but the handles put me off, too light so I sold it quite a while ago, but for a kick around knife it would work ok.

thanks for the coments on my website.. it is still pretty pale in comparison to me big guns, clay and Chuck, but one day I hope to measure up.. maybe even half as good at least.

oh yeah G2, hoe you didn't take offense on the comment I made on your knife, It was just a joke

as for my thoughts on bears.. it is all in the site. but basically I would liek to nte that bear does interesting work with its low cost danascus.. I always fantasied merging Jaguar handles with a bear damascus clip point but never got to it.
