There are no plans at this time to introduce a left hand version hoever the thumb stud will be ambidexterous.

Two questions:

[*]Blade steel?

[*]Any chance of a solid handle version? (I know, I know, the weight!)

Not in stainless. Depending on the response for the Parogee we may consider a high end solid titanium production version of Darrel's Apogee. It will most likely take another year from now for this project to come to fruition.

How might this potential "high end" production version of the Apogee differ from the current Apogee?
Lower cost? Different blade steel? Different size? Different handle pattern? Or will it be more or less identical?

There is no way to improve on Darrel's design so our focus will be to make the production Apogee as close as possible to the original. The main difference is it will be made on a production basis with the goal to achieve as economic a retail price as possible without compromising Darrel's quality standard.

Again, the Ti Apogee is a potential future project and the decision to put this knife in production has not yet been made.

Is the version shown the actual size or will it be the same size as the Apogee? What are the dimensions supposed to be? Thanks

As Darrel knows, I've recently ordered the "puppy in the window" and I couldn't say more about his professionalism and gentlemanly style in handling the sale. I'm looking forward to collect more of his work.
