This is not your normal redwood burl. This is some of the extra hard stuff. I cut these blocks to show off the incredible eyes all over this burl. I am so sure you will love these blocks that they come with a No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee.

These are natural blocks. They have not been stabilized. These blocks were cut from wood stored outdoors under cover for several years (decades), so you should probably give them at least a couple weeks to acclimate before using. I belt sanded these blocks to 120 grit and wiped them with a very light surface coat of Minwax "Wipe On Poly" so you can get a better idea how this wood will look finished. It will sand off easily with out gumming up your sandpaper. When you fine sand and finish these blocks the figure and grain will become much more defined than what you see in these photos.
