EdgePro "Professional" model. Excellent condition, perfect working order.
Ben made this for me 6 months ago. I just can't get the hang of sharpening my smaller knives. This thing is beautifully made, and will last you a looooong time.

$240 + $10 insured Priority Mail (CONUS only), firm.
PayPal only (fees included). My PayPal address is:

First "I'll take it" here gets it. Please don't be shy about asking questions BEFORE you do so. Post questions here or email to:

Also, see pics link below.

Includes everything in the EdgePro Professional #2 Kit ($400 retail + shipping):

"Professional Model Edge Pro Sharpening System, 120 Grit Coarse, 220 Grit Medium Fine , 320 Grit Fine, 600 Grit Extra Fine, 1000 Grit Ultra fine water stones, 1 Pack of 15 -2000 Grit Mylar Polish Tapes, 1 Pack of 15 - 6000 Grit Mylar Polish Tapes , 2 Polish Tape Mounting Blanks, 10" 1200 Grit Ceramic Hone, Instructional DVD, Instructional Manual, Cloth, and water bottle."

details:

* I got 3000 and 7000 grit tapes in my kit instead of 2000/6000.
* I've used two of the 3000 grit tapes.
* In the pics (link below), you'll see a little cosmetic wear on the blade table and slider stop (which is replaceable). This is what carefully sharpening 10-15 knives on an EdgePro will do. Feed good about this cosmetic wear; it's saving you $160.
* 120 grit stone is new (maybe two knives on it). Other stones are in excellent condition and flat.
* I'll also include a bag of Ben's stone-truing aluminum oxide (unopened).
* You'll see my name on the EdgePro in the pics. When Ben makes you a Professional, he writes your name on it with a Sharpie. Presumably this would come off will some paint thinner? Ask Ben, he'll help you out.
* Sorry, I used the "cloth" (which is really a "shop towel") :-)

I'm new here, but FWIW, you can check my eBay feedback here:

http://pages.ebay.com/services/forum/feedback.html

I use the same username there as here: approach

Three-calendar-day-unconditional-money-back-guarantee: Feel free to *inspect* the item for condition for three calendar days after you get it.

* "Inspect" means "look-at/inspect/assemble". It does not mean "use," "unscrew," or "modify" :-)

* If you return it and I can tell that you used it, sorry, but you still own it. I'll ship it back when you cough up another $10.

* Example: Get it Monday, and decide you don't want it (for *any* reason). Tell me via email (approach AT-SIGN-HERE sprynet.com) by Thursday midnight EST and you get $240 back, plus:
* If I made a substantive error in this post, I'll eat shipping both ways.
* If you just changed your mind, you eat shipping both ways.
* In any case, PayPal is my problem.
* I'll need you to please mail it back within 5 business days of contacting me about the return, Priority Mail, insured, with Delivery Confirmation. I'll do the refund as soon as the item arrives safely.

* I'll insure the item, and pack it to within an inch of its life. If you return it, please do the same.

* If our valiant postal authorities damage/lose the item in either direction, we'll cooperate to promptly file a claim. When the claim comes through, you get your bucks. As I said, the item will be packed super well. I don't anticipate problems.

I would take it on the condition that you send it to me first and when I received and inspect it I either send you the money immediately or return item if it doesn't pass my inspection. No offense intended whatsoever, but you have three posts here and the ebay feedback appears to be all for buying not selling....and buying relatively inexpensive items.

Feel free to check me out here. I have purchased a few knives from people here over the years. Also I have been in a dozen or so pass-arounds, some for expensive knives, as well as run a couple myself. My word is good.

Once again, no offense met by any of this and you are probably the nicest guy in the world....but once bitten= twice shy.

Thanks,
Alex

Item is sold pending funds via an email "I'll take it". Thank you Michael.

Falnovice: You caught me! 153 positives over 7 years were part of my evil plot!! Seriously, though, I get it. To quote the irrepressible Alex DeLarge:

"I suppose you can't be blamed for being suspicious with so many scoundrels and rogues of the night about."

:-)

thanks,

Adam
