A CLASSIC GAUCHO STYLE BOWIE KNIFE BY BRAZILIAN BLADE-SMITH EDISON VIEIRA. $475 TRADED

A CLASSIC GAUCHO STYLE BOWIE KNIFE BY THIS JERRY FISK PROTÉGÉ!

AN EXTRAORDINARY PIECE OF KNIFE ART

Pictured here is a MINT CONDITION knife that has never been stored in the sheath. Never used or sharpened. I keep a light film of oil on the metal parts.[/CENTER]
ABOUT THE KNIFE: This stunning knife is the Traditional BRAZILIAN SOROCABANA MODEL. A KNIFE TYPICALLY CARRIED BY THE GAUCHOS, (BRAZILIAN COWBOYS, OF COURSE). The handle is made of BONE and WATER-BUFFALO HORN divided by nickel-silver spacers. The bolster is also nickel- silver. The polished carbon steel blade is 11-1/4 inches long from 1/8 inch stock, and the width is 1-1/2 inches. The curved handle adds 4-3/4 inches. Overall this BIG knife measures 16 inches.

What a remarkable knife.
