Both are from around 2008
Both have dual cores, as fast as they can be for a dual core
Both screens are 10/10
Cases are 7/10 (missing thinkpad nub, missing non important keys on Dell, thinkpad has some screws that are missing or stripped on the bottom case does not affect the case though)
Windows 7 on both, MS Office newerish
Hard Drive Thinkpad 250GB, Dell 500GB
RAM 4GB
Thinkpad has a slim and extended battery and are only good for about an hour same with Dell
Power cords are good no frays the Dell I reinforced one end with electrical tape when I first got it so that it wouldn't bend as they were known to do
Note these are older laptops so don't expect them to be inline with current systems but they were very high end back in the day great as a kitchen counter laptop etc...etc...
