Ahoy Gents, I figure this is the place to ask about a blade I used to own that now seems unfindable. Perhaps a wise member can assist me?
Got to thinking about it after all these years & Googling gives me nothing: I was late teen early twenties, so that puts it circa 1980-1985-ish. I had a very small push dagger, about 2-2 1/2" long. It had a rubber (Kraton?) handle, a semi-serrated blade, and a very cool plastic (Kydex?) sheath that made it one-hand friendly but totally secure for inverted carry. The sheath had a push-button type rocking flexible arm molded into it that I believe engaged a small hole in the blade as well as a small hole in the tip end for a necklace/lanyard. It was very similar to the Cold Steel Mini pal, which I just ordered but really want my old one if possible.
I was into Gerber back when they were a great blade, still carry a '79 or '80 Mk.I. I thought it was a Gerber, but much searching by brand, description or pictures returns zilch. It may have been a cheap thing I just grabbed from somewhere, I don't remember! But I get all OCD when something eludes me, ergo any help or suggestions would indeed be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for the read, Chris REC
EDIT: Found it, duh.....
