My duty knife...She's so pretty dressed in blue
EDIT:
I recieved the scales today and they're a joke. The fit is rubbish, 2 screws are stripped, its not drilled for left-hand carry, the cut-out for the axis lock is not chamfered, the scales are up to 2 mm too thick, the pocket clip cant be mounted because of difference in thickness, etc.
Needless to say, im pretty pissed.
Is this a so-called custom fit? Look at the difference especially around the jimping.
Theres a difference in thickness between the 2 scales of ca. 1 mm which is visible to the naked eye.
Look at the difference between the stock scales and the "custom" scales.
This is the worst bit. Up on removing the scales i discovered that the stop-pin screw had been stripped. AFter i took the pic, i discovered yet another stripped screw. Now i have to contact BM to get a new set.
The cutout around the axis-lock i chamfered on the original scales. That's so you can grab the lock and pull it back. The "custom" scales are not chamfered, which makes it a hassle to disengage the lock. Its near impossible to do so, while wearing gloves.
Note also how there are no holes drilled for left hand carry. Even if i drilled themselves, theres no flat spot for the pocket clip to rest.
