The Swamp Rat Safari Skinner is dead mint as is from the factory. Nothing has been altered or modified in any way.

You are incorrect. Please read my description, This was a FFBM that was modified by Ban. For those that doesn't understand what a FFBM is, it stands for Fat Fusion Battle Mistress, which means it was .32" thick to begin with. If you have any questions, please email me.

Where is the balance point on the knife relative to the blade/handle interface? Does it still have a forward heavy chopper feel like a stock ffbm, or did Ban remove enough steel to bring the balance back toward the handle?

The balance is slightly more towards the handle on the Ban finished one, it's about where the choil is.
