editing posts

It seems that the "edit" feature has disappeared. I made a stupid spelling mistake in one of my posts but couldn't edit it. What's going on?

You may want to look again. My Edit button is where it has always been.

I see it too ... right next to the quote button at the bottom of the post.

I think computers hide things just to show their intellectual superiority. The next time you look it'll be there and you're supposed to blame yourself -- well don't! It's not your fault; the computer hid it deliberately.

I like the field "Reason for Editing:"
