Here is a knife I forged out of some 1095 a fellow knife maker gave me alittle whaile back, Its definitely the biggest Ive made as far as the thickness, I had a hard time forging this out of 3/8 with a 2lbs hammer. Its 14 inches long, blade from the top of the guard to the tip is almost 9 inches. The ricasso is alittle under 3/8 but not much. Long distill taper, and a really comfortable handle. The hamon really sticks out good, its handsanded up to 400 grit and polished out.Its the fist time Ive contoured a handle like this and it wont be my last. Mortised handle with a huge tang inside of it. The tang runs within a 3/8 inch to the butt of the knife. Stainless guard and pin. I have spent alot of time on this one, and its by far the most favorite knife of mine I have made so far. Price is 180.00 without a sheath, shipping is 10 dollars and it will be sent priority, The price is a steal steal,I know its easy for us knife makers to say this is a steal or thats a steal but this one really is. I can have a sheath made for it for 25 to 45 dollars. I am very positive whoever gets this one will be very pleased, Its a monster!

I definitely agree with ya that it's a steal for that price and if I had the funds I'd definitely be the one stealing it from ya !
Great looking blade buddy, I'm sure it won't be here long !!!!

Edited to say....told ya so, couldn't even type the message in time, LOL !

I really like how you contour the handles - speaking from experience, your knives are a joy to hold!
