This is a great fighter made by reknowned knifemaker Edmund Davidson. I have owned a few of his knives, but this is definitely the most unique. It is 10" overall with a 5 1/4" blade. What sets this knife out from the rest is that it is made completely out of micarta.
This knife was recently sent to Mr. Davidson for him to verify his work since it is not marked. He sent back a nice handwritten letter giving the history of the knife; the letter is included with the knife.
In the letter he states that he made maybe 3 of these knives in the late 80's-90's for something different to do and to "enjoy this item as there will be no more from my hand." He also states that he did not make the sheath that came with the knife. A definite need for an Edmund Davidson collection.
