Educate me on Strider folders

Just my 2cents... I'm not sure why people care so much about the person himself. I like hinderer knife designs(example) I don't know anything about the guy or really care. No offence to him, but I'm buying a knife not buying into him personally. There are many companies, that I buy product from that I disagree with. Do I refuse to shop at walmart because of there connection to using child labor in the third world countries? No. Do I refuse to buy apple products because I disagree with some of there stances on subjects and because of their terrible labor conditions where people die from exhaustion in China? No. You can always look for the negative. The guy(strider) has military contracts, so clearly other people who also serve don't really care about the person himself if the knife works. I don't own any striders or have any intentions of buying them btw.

^ Are you saying that because of this Strider thread, somebody posted pictures of YOUR CHILDREN in the W&C? All because you didn't support their position?

If this is the case, this has to be thee most f-ed up thing I've witnessed since being a member on this forum! And the Mod's allow this type of behavior??? :thumbdn:

Posting pictures of a father's children here on this forum (with malicious intent), is far more cowardly than what these pussies are accusing MS of.

Folks - thank you again for sharing what you know and feel about the Strider knives. Unfortunately it saddens me to see the thread has been derailed almost completely. Someone said this is still my thread and I do see an option on my screen of "close this thread" and I am trying to close it. If it does not work, could I ask a mod please do so?
