the whole point of the cerakote is to protect the steel from exposure to moisture and such?I wqas wondering if anyone has had luck or issues using Eezox on their Cerakote?
I have some knives in Cruwear that I'd like to coat before a big expedition.
Some of my Cruwear blades have Cerakote finishes which definitley helps prevent some corrosion when they're new. But as you know the Cerakote wears off in areas and I was looking for a product to protect my Cruwear and M4 blades from any oxidation while in the field, especially humid environments. I've looked into Tuf-Cloth, and Tuf Cloth Marine but in tests the Eezox really seems to do great. I've also heard of CLP but not sure about that one either. I mad ea new post to ask about caring for non-stainless blades in Tinkering and Embellishment on the forum . Curious what people are using on their non-stainless knives...not so much info out there on whether it's safe on Cerakote though.the whole point of the cerakote is to protect the steel from exposure to moisture and such?
are ya worried it will strip the cerakote or.....im not sure i get what you're asking about?
