I'm selling a Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive from circa 1990's on behalf of my Father.
My Father bought this knife from the Cutlery Shoppe back in the 1990's, but he's now in his 80's and is looking to sell his small collection - of which this is his 'flagship' knife.
This is a vintage Blackjack Model 1-7 with an ultra-rare handle of synthetic ivory that Blackjack called Dymar Ivory. The material has tiny holes in it of varying sizes that was meant to mimic real ivory. The handle is one of the rarest handles Blackjack used. I've been informed that, according to Mike Stewart, Past President of Blackjack, only fifty of these Model 1-7 knives with Dymar Ivory handles were ever made.
Condition: Very Good to Excellent - Knife is in unused condition (never used nor sharpened), with only a few very small marks on the blade from slight tarnish/rust. (See the detailed pics below.)
The knife blade has been kept in the original cardboard sleeve since new. The handle and guard are in excellent condition, with the guard having only a bit of tarnish or patina from the years that have elapsed.
