I assume Eh? is asking what we think about it.

Thumb buster. Never held one, but looks to be.

Then again you may not be familiar with a pre order.

What is it your wanting to know?

edit- I see its the knife. I haven't held one, but some will chime in that know more than I do about it. I know my thumb doesn't want any of it though.

It's a great knife, if you like beefy blades. There were issues with some of the first run of knives, but the bugs should be worked out now.

Hi FireAnt -

You might first try searching the Reviews forum when you want answers to questions about a knife -

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ER-OVERVIEW-Production-Version?highlight=hest

I have the LE version of that knife and I like it, it is a rugged knife and stays very sharp. It weighs aroun d 4.8 oz if I remember when I did my review on the LE version.

As mentioned, many of the first run were reported as having an issue where the very tip of the blade did not seat down into the handle scales, causing some owners (and many non-owners) to be concerned that they would catch the tip on clothing or on their hand. The knife also had some issues with lockup, until mine was worn-in for a week or so, the lock-bar could slide back off of the tang of the knife if you made a concerted effort to wiggle the blade up and down - mine has lost that tendancy. In addition, the roto-block is a lock-bar locking mechanism that eliminates the possibilty of the lock-bar sliding off of the tang.

best regards -
